Ladies' Golf Club of Toronto aims to provide players with a safe, well-maintained and environmentally friendly golf facility that can be enjoyed by members and their guests regardless of level of playing ability. Situated in Thornhill, Ontario, it is easily accessible from highways 401, 407 and 404.

Members may play unlimited golf and have extensive access to tee times. Guest Card Holders and guests are welcome daily. The reservation system for booking games is automated (telephone), and easy to use. Pro Shop assistance is available for arranging games.

The course layout of 21 holes permits a game of 18 or 9 holes.  The 18-hole course from the back tees is just over 6,000 yards. The 9-hole course takes about 2 hours 15 minutes to play, the 18 about 4 hours 15 minutes.

The original 18-hole course was designed by Stanley Thompson, renowned Canadian golf course architect. Three holes were added later to enable the 18-hole or 9-hole layout.  The course was extensively renovated in 2005-6. (For more information on this project, please click on the Course History link.

The course particularly favours a woman’s game (long, rolling, fairly narrow fairways; no long carries; small greens), (par 72) but nevertheless men find it a challenging par 70.

Golfing Sections
To encourage friendships and give members a regular opportunity to compete or just play, Ladies’ has golfing sections. Each section has a captain, a committee and a regular weekly draw time when games are made up for members. Members may choose from two 18-hole sections (day and evening) and two 9-hole sections (day and evening). Events include section opening dinners, guest days, championships, match play and stroke play competitions, ringer boards and chip-ins.

Reciprocal Play
As part of the Private Club Alliance, members of  The Briars, Brampton,  Meadowbrook  and Maple Downs golf clubs are welcome to play at Ladies'. Members of Ladies' may play at their clubs also.

To inquire about availability or book a tee time, call or visit your own Golf Shop. Times may be booked two weeks in advance. There is no charge for members. If members have guests playing with them, the relevant green fees will apply for those guests.

On arrival at the club, please report to the Golf Shop and present identification. The Club Information link provides useful information for first-time visitors to Ladies' as well as the club dress code.

Ladies' also has reciprocal arrangements with Royal Ottawa Golf Club and Royal Colwood Golf Club in Victoria, British Columbia.

Simply the Best!
Golf columnist Lorne Rubenstein, writing in the June 2006 edition of ScoreGolf claims that "The Greater Toronto Area has the most impressive collection of courses in Canada, by a huge margin". He goes on to list courses like Devil's Paintbrush in Caledon, Wooden Sticks in Uxbridge and Scarboro G&CC among others. " ....And how about the Ladies' (Golf) Club of Toronto which has undergone a huge renovation and updating?...."
