Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto named PGA of Canada’s National Retailer of the Year  December 20, 2018

Each year, a national selection committee evaluates application submissions from zone award winners and recognizes winners in each of the categories. Following Ladies’ PGA of Canada – Ontario Zone retailer of the year award, Ladies’ was recognized as PGA of Canada’s “National Retailer of the Year”. This is a huge accomplishment for our Head Golf Professional, Padraig Kelly, his team, and the Club as a whole. We couldn’t be more proud! Read more here.

Intermediate Ladies’ Member Wins National WGA Event  March 22, 2017

Ladies’ is proud of junior member and Canadian amateur Selena Costabile who shot a final round, even par 70 to win a National Women’s Golf Association event at Dubsdread Golf Course in Orlando March 22, 2017. Selena, who opened with scores of 65 – 69, finished the three-round event at six under par.

Ladies’ Golf Club Toronto Recognized for Environmental Excellence  July 1, 2016

Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto recently achieved designation as a ‘Certified Audobon Cooperative Sanctuary’. Ladies’ is one of 56 golf courses in Ontario and 910 worldwide to hold this title. Course superintendent John McLinden,is responsible for initiating the application, and has been recognized for environmental stewardship by Audobon International.

Ladies’ Golf Club is a sanctuary for wildlife on the golf course property. Close to 100 birds have been sited on the course, native plant species have been introduced, and vital food and habitat for bee and butterfly species are provided by the many gardens and naturalized areas.
