Designed for beauty. Built to challenge.

This Stanley Thompson gem combines his trademark design elements with modern enhancements, providing a balanced and enjoyable golfing experience. Each hole offers its own unique challenge. The mature tree-lined fairways place a premium on accuracy. The greens are small compared to modern standards, with undulating surfaces so shots to the green are better to finish below the hole. Water features running throughout the property and strategic bunkering add to both the challenge and fun. In 2024, the club completed a full bunker renovation/restoration enhancing the playability.

Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto’s golf course is not just a place to play golf; it is a beautifully crafted and well-maintained facility that offers a fulfilling and challenging experience for all who visit. Its combination of historic significance, strategic design, and commitment to excellent course conditioning from tee to green makes it a memorable experience.

“The Most Scenic and Challenging Golf Holes in the Province” (Excerpt from SPECTACULAR GOLF)

A fine example of a Stanley Thompson’s masterful design is the par-3 16th hole. Whether playing from the red tee at 108 yards or back at the blue tee at 179 yards, golfers have Thompson’s visual aid: the “V” formed by the trees behind the green aligns with the left center of the putting surface, the ideal aiming point. It serves as a good reference, as players must avoid the creek crossing the fairway - 134 yards from the blue tee - and the bunkers guarding both sides of a green that slopes back to front and right to left. The 16th is a gem of a hole on a classic Thompson course.
