Host a Golf Event or Tournament
Looking for a prime spot to host your team-building, charity event or social outing? Look at Ladies’.
With a championship par-72 course and choice of 18- or 9-hole play, we’ve been staging first-rate golf events and tournaments for almost a century, and many of our clients come back again and again. Our 18-hole play is just over 6,000 yards and takes about 4 hours and 20 minutes to play. Our 9-hole play takes just over two hours. And with five sets of tees, the course is perfect for players of any skill level. We welcome groups of up to 108 golfers for tournaments, and up to 24 for Corporate Golf events. Hosting of these events is open to both Members and non-members.
You’ll have an assigned events professional to help you plan everything from game format to event logistics; from arrival to course time, after‑golf dinner, entertainment and gifting. Our course is perfect for players of all skill levels, and our team will help you take your special event from good to great!

Half‑day Golf Event
You can also host a half-day golf event for beginners or intermediate golfers, and treat your group to a great afternoon of learning with one of our PGA of Canada golf pros followed by a delightful cocktail reception in our Clubhouse.
Choose a two-hour Golf Clinic for Beginners, or 9‑Hole Play (including power carts) for Intermediates. Your cocktail reception will feature a light and refreshing menu of ‘finger foods’. And beverages can be charged on a consumption or cash‑bar basis.

I’ve golfed at private clubs in the past, and never once enjoyed the game. I found it too stressful, and frankly I found most staff quite rude as, being a novice golfer, I was very slow.
My friend suggested Ladies’ 6-week beginner program, and I asked if I could tag along. Happy I did! The whole learning experience was very different: relaxed, informative, just plain fun. Who knew? Your Unlimited Trial Program provided an amazing opportunity for me to get to know not only your beautiful golf course but the exceptional staff and so many delightful Club members.
Everyone made me feel right at home. The clinics and lessons were always fun and helpful, and I loved how the Pros, passing by on the course or at the practice areas, would offer suggestions to improve my game. And, after a round of golf on a hot summer’s day, it was such a pleasure to relax and chat beside the beautiful gardens with a cool drink and a tasty snack.

My husband golfs and I often contemplated lessons but resisted due to a past back injury. In 2015, I heard of the comprehensive Learn-to-Golf program at Ladies’. The schedule was realistic and it covered what I needed, so I joined with a friend. We immediately loved the club’s welcoming atmosphere; the beautiful course; our professional, positive, goal-oriented instructor; and the fellow-students who soon became friends. Often, I would arrive at the driving range to practice, only to find fellow students doing the same thing.
And even though there were six in our class, we always had lots of individual attention – for example, after a few classes, my instructor suggested adding stability exercises to my daily workout routine to add strength and mobility. I did and it really helped!

As a relatively inexperienced golfer, I had a fabulous experience as an unlimited trial member last year. I golfed more than I’ve ever golfed in my life, got some great exercise outdoors, and met many very interesting and accomplished golfers.
Thoughtful efforts were made to introduce the “newbies” to all levels of golfers in a non-threatening and supportive way. We were each assigned a buddy, and there were some fun events throughout the summer just for us newcomers. I made some new friends and, best of all, my golf improved a little! Now that I’m a new member, I have many more years ahead to get better. Hope I live long enough!!!

I have always been curious about golf but didn’t attempt it as I’ve always felt it’s a men’s game and I was uncomfortable trying it out at my old age. All that changed when I found out about Ladies’ and its Learn-to-Golf Programs. I started the 5-Week Program for Beginners with my friend last June and haven’t looked back!
The program was an absolute blast with Paddy as our instructor and Loryn as our learning partner. We had all our lessons on the golf course, which was a great way to learn the game, the rules and the proper etiquette. It was so much fun that we decided to take up the Unlimited Trial Membership at the end of the program. We have been playing regularly ever since although there’s still much room for improvement. We have come across lots of friendly members and of course we have our ‘buddy’ to show us the way!
Ladies’ is definitely a great place for women who want to learn the game.
